ZELO Electric Knight+ Launched At Rs 59,999 - 100km Range, 55km/h Top Speed
Zelo Electric has launched its latest addition to the electric scooter market in India, the Knight+. With an emphasis on affordability and premium features, the Zelo Electric Knight+ is priced at Rs 59,990 (ex-showroom, introductory).
This launch of the Zelo Electric Knight+move is seen as an effort to broaden the appeal of electric scooters to both urban and rural consumers, marking a significant step towards more accessible electric mobility in the country.
The Knight+ boasts a 1.8kWh portable lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery which offers a 100-kilometer real world range on a single charge according to Zelo Electric. The battery is coupled with a 1.5kW motor that allows the scooter to reach speeds of up to 55 kilometers per hour. Its battery's removable design further adds convenience, enabling charging at home without the need for dedicated charging stations.
The Knight+ electric includes features like hill hold control to prevent the scooter from rolling back on slopes and cruise control for maintaining a steady speed. Additionally, it comes equipped with follow-me-home headlamps that stay on after the scooter is parked, enhancing visibility and safety at night. A USB charging port is also integrated into the design, allowing riders to charge mobile devices and other electronics on the go.
Mukund Baheti, co-founder of ZELO Electric, expressed his enthusiasm for the Knight+, stating, "At just ₹59,990, it's the most feature-rich, value-packed electric scooter in its class. We believe this will empower thousands to switch to smarter, cleaner mobility"
In terms of aesthetics, the Knight+ offers six color variations to cater to individual preferences. These include single-tone options in white and black, as well as dual-tone schemes that blend matte finishes with striking white accents in blue, red, yellow, and grey.
The Knight+ is now available for pre-booking at ZELO Electric dealerships, with deliveries set to commence on August 20, 2025. This launch is a strategic move by ZELO Electric to leverage its performance-driven features and competitive pricing to capture a larger share of India's growing electric two-wheeler market.
