e-Scooter Cheaper Than Samsung Galaxy S24: Zelio Gracyi Launched In India!
ZELIO E Mobility has updated its Gracyi electric scooter, aiming squarely at budget-conscious urban riders. The facelift brings meaningful tweaks that make this low-speed electric scooter a little more appealing for students, last-mile delivery workers, and first-time EV buyers.
There are currently 3 battery setups are on offer. The 60V/30Ah lithium-ion version (Rs 66,000 ex-showroom) claims a 90-100 km range, while the 60V/32Ah Get battery pack variant (Rs 54,000) covers 80-90 km. A bigger 72V/42Ah Gel battery pack (Rs 58,500) stretches that to 130-140 km. Charging takes 4 hours for the lithium-ion and 8 hours for gel batteries.

Performance remains modest, with a 25km/h top speed, which is well within the 'low-speed" category, so no license or registration needed. The BLDC motor sips just 1.5 units of electricity per charge, which is good news for running costs. Improved 180mm ground clearance, an 85kg kerb weight, and 150kg payload capacity should help it cope with potholes and heavier loads.
The chassis setup includes a front disc and rear drum brake, hydraulic shocks, and 90/90-12 tyres. ZELIO has also added convenience features like keyless start, a digital display, anti-theft alarm, USB charging, and a passenger footrest. Color choices include White, Black, White-Black, Yellow-Blue, and Black-Red-are bright but sensible.
ZELIO backs Grayci with 2-year warranties on the motor controller and frame, 3 years on lithium-ion batteries, and 1 year on gel units. The company, which already has 400 dealerships and 2,00,000 riders, plans to scale to 1,000 outlets by 2025-an ambitious target in a crowded market.
DriveSpark Thinks
While the Gracyi won't excite enthusiasts, it's clearly positioned as a fuss-free runabout. The facelifted Gracyi is about practicality, affordability, and ease of ownership. For anyone who just wants a reliable, low-speed electric scooter for short commutes without the red tape, it's worth a look.
