Yamaha XSR 155 Custom Kits Features And Price Details
Yamaha has launched its Neo-retro bike, the XSR 155, in India at a starting price of 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It uses a proven 155cc engine from the R15 and the MT 15. It is a mix of a classic retro design and modern tech.
Along with this bike, Yamaha offers two customisation kits, just like Honda does with its CB350 series. These customisation kits are the Cafe Racer and Scrambler kits. These kits are for those who want to have a different identity while using the same reliable 155cc platform. Both custom kits are available in the showrooms.

Scrambler Kit
People who go for adventure rides very often will need this kit, as it gives the bike a scrambler look. The package gets a fly screen, headlight cover, bar-end mirrors, Side number plates, and silver side covers. The total cost of the Scrambler kit will be 12,330 rupees.
Cafe Racer Kit
This is for those who are city dwellers and want to make their bike look like a classic British cafe motorcycle. The Cafe racer kit is inspired by cafe racing culture, and it comes with a cafe headlight cowl around the LED headlamp. Additionally, it also gets a lever guard, seat assembly with a special hump at the rear, giving a cafe bike look. This kit costs around 11,915 rupees.
XSR 155 engine
The neo retro bike has a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 18.4 PS at 10,000 rpm, and 14.2 Nm torque at 7500 rpm. It has a 6-speed transmission, slipper assist clutch, dual-channel ABS, VVA system, Traction control system, Bluetooth connectivity, and LED headlamp and tail light.
Colour options
The XSR 155 is available in four colour options, such as Metallic Grey, Vivid Red, Greyish green metallic, and Metallic blue. The custom kits are available in only two colours, which are the metallic blue and Greyish Green metallic.
