The Yamaha Tenere 700 motorcycle is equipped with a 698cc parallel-twin engine, derived from the MT09, producing 72.4bhp and 68Nm of torque. It features a 6-speed gearbox and introduces a ride-by-wire system offering two ride modes: Explorer and Sport.

The Tenere 700's suspension system is designed for varied terrains, featuring an adjustable 43mm USD fork with 210mm travel and a rear monoshock with 200mm travel. These components are supported by robust aluminium upper and lower clamps, enhancing durability and performance. The bike rides on dual-sport Pirelli Scorpion tyres mounted on spoked wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear.
The braking system of the Tenere 700 includes dual 282mm front brake discs paired with a single 245mm rear disc, ensuring effective stopping power. This setup is crucial for maintaining control during off-road adventures or sudden stops on diverse terrains.
