Yamaha Motor's Chennai Facility Celebrates 10 Years & 5 Million Unit Production
Yamaha Motor's Chennai facility has reached a significant milestone, marking ten years of production. The factory celebrated by rolling out its 5 millionth two-wheeler, the Aerox 155 Version S. This facility is crucial for both domestic and international markets, exporting over 30% of its output. It manufactures various models, including hybrid scooters like the RayZR 125 Fi and Fascino 125 Fi.
The Chennai plant plays a vital role in Yamaha's global manufacturing network. It produces models such as the FZ series, Saluto range, and Alpha scooter for export. Yamaha's Roadside Assistance Program
To commemorate 40 years in India, Yamaha Motor has introduced a 5-year Roadside Assistance (RSA) program. Priced at ₹975 for five years, this initiative offers several benefits. These include towing support during breakdowns or accidents, battery jumpstart assistance, flat tyre support, running repairs for minor issues, and medical aid during emergencies.
