Yamaha India Marks 40 Years With 10-Year Warranty Initiative

India Yamaha Motors is marking its 40-year presence in the Asian subcontinent with a significant initiative. The company has introduced a 10-year Total Warranty for its made-in-India scooters and motorcycles. This move aims to enhance customer value and redefine their premium lineup, offering long-term reliability and peace of mind.

Yamaha's Extended Warranty Strategy

The new warranty plan extends the standard 2-year warranty by an additional 8 years, covering engine and electrical components, including the electronic fuel injection system. However, imported models like the MT-03 and R3 are not included in this offer. This initiative is part of Yamaha's celebration of its milestone in India.

Coverage Details for Scooters and Motorcycles

Under this limited-period offer, Yamaha's scooter lineup, including Fascino 125 Fi, RayZR Fi, and Aerox 155 Version S, receives coverage up to 1,00,000 km. Meanwhile, the motorcycle lineup such as the FZ Series, MT-15, and R15 enjoys coverage up to 1,25,000 km. This extended warranty is expected to be a game-changer for Yamaha in India's two-wheeler market.

Transferable Warranty Benefits

A notable feature of this warranty is its transferability to subsequent owners. This aspect enhances the resale value of Yamaha's scooters and motorcycles purchased during the offer period. After this period ends, new buyers can still opt for the extended warranty at a nominal cost once the standard warranty expires.
