2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi Motorcycle Launched: Prices Start At Rs 1.35 Lakh
Yamaha has rolled out an updated version of the FZ-S Fi, now sporting an OBD-2B compliant engine and introducing two new shades to its lineup, all while retaining its original design features. This enhancement in the bike's specifications arrives with a price adjustment, marking the new model at Rs 1.35 lakh, which is Rs 3,600 higher than its predecessor. The refresh brings not just regulatory compliance but also a minor aesthetic tweak with the merging of indicators into the tank shrouds for a more streamlined appearance.
Despite the slight increase in cost, Yamaha's FZ-S Fi still delivers with its reliable 149cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, capable of generating 12.4hp at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of torque at 5,500rpm, coupled with a 5-speed transmission system. This continuity ensures that the performance metrics beloved by its users remain unaffected.
The introduction of new color schemes in black and grey, complemented by updated graphics, provides a fresh look, albeit these changes are subtle when compared to the outgoing model. This decision to offer new visual options while maintaining mechanical consistency showcases Yamaha's strategy to appeal to both existing fans and attract new customers looking for a bike that stands out without compromising on performance.
Interestingly, Yamaha has chosen to keep the previous version of the FZ-S Fi V4 DLX available for purchase.
