1. Global design
The Aerox EV is completely designed based on Yamaha's globally acclaimed Maxi Sports lineage. We already have the Aerox 155 performance scooter, which carries the same design and DNA as the Aerox EV. Yamaha has developed this premium electric scooter particularly for the ASEAN region and for emerging markets.
Aerox EV is based on Yamaha's "heart-shaking speedster" design philosophy. As we said earlier, the Aerox EV will be completely manufactured by Yamaha and sold exclusively as a premium performance scooter.
2. Powerful Motor
As a stylish performance scooter, it delivers maximum power, and for that, it gets a mid-mounted motor that produces 9.4 kW and 48 Nm of torque. This gives the performance scooter a strong low-end torque and mid-range power ideal for city conditions.
3. Removable Battery System
The Aerox scooter gets dual detachable 3kWh batteries that can efficiently power the motor. For maximum performance, these batteries are built with high-energy type cells. They are also ergonomic; users can charge these batteries at home effortlessly.
4. Technology
To double the thrill, the Aerox Ev comes with multiple riding modes. The Eco Mode keeps the motor running low, delivering maximum range by limiting power delivery. Standard Mode is for all conditions where the scooter delivers performance when needed and can also be economical.
The Power Mode gets a Boost button, where the scooter delivers maximum performance and acceleration, allowing the riders to have a quick start and overtake. Additionally, it also has a reverse mode for more convenience.
5. Modern Appeal
For the modern appeal, the Yamaha Aerox EV has twin LED Class-D headlights, LED flashers, 3D effect LED tail light, a large coloured TFT console with turn-by-turn navigation. Through the Y-Connect mobile app, users will get a chance to access the Multi-Information display (MID), smart connectivity features like service reminders, last parked location, and phone alerts.
