Ultraviolette X-47 - Top 5 Things You Need To Know About The Electric ADV
Ultraviolette Automotive yesterday (23rd September, 2025) launched the X-47, its first dedicated electric adventure motorcycle. The new Ultraviolette X47 was first previewed as the Concept X at EICMA 2024 last November.
Based on the F77's platform, the new X47 crosses over into the ADV segment while also bringing a host of first-time features on a bike at its price point. So let's take a deeper dive into the Ultraviolette X47 and list of the top 5 features of the electric crossover that impressed us the most...

1. Impressive Range & Charging Options
The X-47 uses the same battery variants as the F77 lineup: a 7.1 kWh pack providing an IDC range of up to 211 km, and a larger 10.3 kWh battery delivering up to 323 km (IDC). This allows riders to choose between daily commuting and longer touring or adventure rides.
The Ultraviolette X-47 is the first bike from the firm to come with an on-board charger. Ultraviolette claims that this 1.6kW unit is the most energy-dense air-cooled on-board charger and it supports both AC and DC fast charging. It also supports an industry first - parallel boost charging - which halves the charging time.
2. Powerful Performance

The Ultraviolette X-47's battery packs are paired with a mid-mounted electric motor that pushes out 40.2 bhp and 610 Nm of torque to the rear wheel. This X-47 accelerates from 0-60 km/h in 2.7 seconds, 0-100 in 8.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 145 km/h.
3. Advanced Technology & Daschcams

The Ultraviolette X-47 comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, nine levels of regenerative braking, and three traction control modes. It also features integrated front and rear dashcams with Sony sensors which keep an eye out on the traffic both ahead and behind you.
4. Radar-Based ADAS Safety System

Ultraviolette's Hypersense radar enhances rider awareness with blind spot monitoring, lane change assistance, and rear collision warnings. The system covers 150° horizontally and 68° vertically, with a detection range of up to 200 metres, allowing you to keep an invisible eye out for all the traffic madness India is known for.
5. Pricing and Availability

The 7.1 kWh variant of the X-47 is priced at ₹2.74 lakh ex-showroom (₹2.49 lakh for the first 1000 buyers), with pre-bookings already open for a token amount of ₹999 and deliveries expected next month. Pricing for the 10.3 kWh variant is not yet available. Ultraviolette also has a special Desert Wing trim level with different graphics, a new colour option and accessories already added on. Pre-bookings for the X-47 Desert Wing are open for a token amount of ₹4,999.
The Ultraviolette X-47 brings together long-range battery options, advanced radar-based safety, and adventure-ready hardware in a single crossover electric motorcycle. With multiple colour and battery options, high-performance powertrain, and new radar and camera tech, the Ultraviolette X-47 establishes a new benchmark in India's growing entry-level ADV segment.
