Ultraviolette Tesseract Electric Scooter Launched In India At Rs 1.20 Lakh
The Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter has been introduced at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.45 lakh in India. For the initial 10,000 units, there is a special introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh. This scooter boasts advanced features such as a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display, integrated dashcam, and wireless phone charging. Deliveries are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2026.
Ultraviolette has not disclosed the battery capacity of the Tesseract but claims an IDC range of 261 km. The scooter can accelerate from 0 to 60 kph in just 2.9 seconds. With Rs 100 worth of charge, it can travel up to 500 km. It offers a top speed of 125 kph and can charge from 0 to 80 percent in under an hour using a fast charger.

Advanced Features and Safety
The Tesseract stands out with its dual-channel ABS, traction control, and dynamic stability control, similar to the F77 model. It is one of the few electric scooters, alongside the River Indie, that rides on 14-inch wheels. The scooter also includes a spacious boot with a capacity of 34 litres, accommodating a full-face helmet.
Technologically advanced, the Tesseract features haptic feedback on its handlebars and radar-assisted front and rear dashcams—an innovation for Indian electric scooters. Additionally, it supports wireless smartphone charging. Available in Desert Sand, Stealth Black, and Sonic Pink colours, it offers various accessories for customisation.
Pricing & Availability
The introductory pricing for the first batch of vehicles is set at Rs 1.20 lakh; subsequent purchases will cost Rs 1.45 lakh. The company plans to start delivering these scooters by early 2026.
Alongside the Tesseract launch, Ultraviolette has unveiled the Shockwave lightweight Enduro bike priced at Rs 1.50 lakh. Currently, Ultraviolette operates five vehicle platforms as part of its expanding portfolio.
The Tesseract's impressive specifications include a power output of 20.4 hp and an estimated top speed of 125 kph. Its rapid charging capability allows it to reach up to 80 percent state-of-charge within an hour using a fast charger.
This new addition to Ultraviolette's lineup aims to provide cutting-edge technology and performance while maintaining affordability through its initial pricing strategy.
