Ultraviolette To Announce New Lineup On March 5 - ADV, Scooter, Cruiser On The Way
Bangalore-based EV manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive has announced that it will be expanding its lineup. The expanded lineup was teased in an image shared by Ultraviolette and more details will be revealed on the 5th of March.
The teaser image shared by Ultraviolette shows the upcoming expanded lineup of electric vehicles from Ultraviolette and includes the current F77 lineup with both the Mach 2 and the Superstreet present on the left side of the image. Next to the F77s is what appears to be a track bike, which we think could be based on the F99.

To the right of the F99 in the teaser image is Concept X ADV which the firm showed off at the EICMA 2024 motorcycle show in Milan last November. The final two electric two-wheelers are what appears to be a cruiser-style motorcycle and a scooter.
Ultraviolette will provide the exact details about its expansion on the 5th of March. The firm's new lineup whenever it hits the roads is expected to be one of the most tech-packed when it arrives and like the F77 lineup, there will be a crazy amount of R&D that would have gone into it to ensure that the firm gets the job done right to take on established players in the segments.
Speaking about the upcoming expansion of the Ultraviolette lineup, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO s Co-Founder, Ultraviolette said, "Our journey with the F77 was just the beginning. Over the past seven years, our unwavering focus on research and development has been instrumental in developing the technology for vertical integration across core systems such as Battery technology, Powertrain, and Safety systems. This approach has laid a strong foundation, enabling us to expand across multiple two-wheeler segments at a much faster pace. As we expand into new segments, our goal is to set new industry benchmarks and accelerate the adoption of electric mobility across diverse customer segments."
DriveSpark Thinks
Ultraviolette's decision to expand its two-wheeler EV lineup for India will see it expand into segments it has avoided till now as it looks to up sales. The scooter is expected to be the mass market offering from the firm, while the ADV is expected to be the first of the new offerings to hit the market unless Ultraviolette has been testing its new vehicles with an invisibility cloak on to keep the automotive paparazzi at bay.
