TVS To Pass On Full GST Benefits TO Customers - Prices Expected To Drop By Up To ₹25,000
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has confirmed it will pass on the complete benefit of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) reduction to customers across its internal combustion engine portfolio. The revised prices take effect from September 22, 2025, following the GST Council's reforms.
The Council recently announced a reduction in GST on two-wheelers below 350cc from 28% to 18%. This change translates into big price cuts across every motorcycle and scooter lineup sold by TVS as all their ICE vehicles currently offered feature engines with a cubic capacity of under 350cc.
TVS Motor highlighted that the reform significantly enhances accessibility for its ICE products. In an official statement, the company said the revised ex-showroom prices will deliver direct savings to customers.
Commenting on the development, KN Radhakrishnan, Director and CEO, TVS Motor Company, said: "The GST rate rationalisation is a bold and transformative move that will accelerate consumption across society. We sincerely thank the Government of India for these progressive reforms. We will pass on the full benefit of GST rate reduction to customers across our ICE portfolio."

TVS will undertake communication campaigns nationwide to ensure buyers are informed of the revised pricing. The updated structure will be available at dealerships across India from September 22. Customers looking to purchase mid-capacity motorcycles and scooters stand to save significantly under the new GST regime.
