TVS Ntorq 150: Top 5 Things You Must Know
TVS Motor Company has finally launched the Ntorq 150 at an attractive starting price of just Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). That said, here are the top 5 things you must know about the new TVS Ntorq 150 scooter.
Design - Sharper & Sportier
The Ntorq 150 retains the silhouette of its smaller sibling but carries a sharper, more aggressive stance with the addition of a quad-projector LED headlamp, sculpted winglets, and a striking tail-lamp.

TVS has also opted for bold colour choices, offering Stealth Silver, Turbo Blue, Racing Red, and Nitro Green. While Stealth Silver is exclusive to the base variant, Nitro Green can only be had on the top TFT model, adding exclusivity to the range.
Features - More Tech-Loaded
True to the Ntorq nameplate, the 150 variant arrives with a long list of features, many of which are segment-first. Riders get two riding modes - Street and Race - along with traction control and single-channel ABS for added safety.
The higher TFT variant uses the same 5-inch colour display as the Apache RTR 310, supporting smartphone and smartwatch connectivity, Alexa integration, geo-fencing, SoS triggers, and crash alerts. The base variant, on the other hand, carries over the split LCD/TFT unit from the Ntorq XT. Practical additions like a parking brake lock, 22-litre underseat storage with USB charging, and adjustable motorcycle-style levers round off the package.
Powertrain - Bigger & Better
At the heart of the TVS Ntorq 150 is a 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 13.2hp and 14.2Nm of torque. TVS has equipped it with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) that provides a small electric boost in Race mode, helping it achieve a claimed top speed of 104 km/h.
In Street mode, output is limited to 10.9hp with a mellower throttle response, making it more suitable for daily commutes, while Race mode unleashes the engine's full potential along with the ISG boost. Unlike the smaller Ntorq, the 150 omits a kick-start option entirely, relying solely on electric start.
Price & Variants
The TVS Ntorq 150 is available in two trims. The base variant, priced at Rs 1.19 lakh, comes with a split LCD/TFT cluster and simpler switchgear, and it is the only version offered with the Stealth Silver colour option. The top-end TFT variant, priced at Rs 1.29 lakh, gets the premium 5-inch display, full connectivity features, and the exclusive Nitro Green paint scheme. The other two colours, Turbo Blue and Racing Red, are available across both trims.
Rivals - A Strong Value Proposition
The Ntorq 150 faces off against well-established rivals like the Yamaha Aerox 155 (Rs 1.51-1.54 lakh), Hero Xoom 160 (Rs 1.49 lakh), and Aprilia SR 175 (Rs 1.26 lakh). Despite being air-cooled, it holds its ground with strong performance and advanced features. Most importantly, its aggressive pricing makes it the most affordable scooter in this category, undercutting all of its competitors while still offering a sporty and feature-rich package.
DriveSpark Thinks
With its sharp design, feature-packed cabin, and powerful engine, the TVS Ntorq 150 stands out as an accessible entry point into the premium scooter segment. For buyers who want a blend of performance and practicality without stretching their budget toward pricier maxi-scooters, the Ntorq 150 emerges as a compelling choice.
