TVS Ntorq 150 To Launch On September 4: Yamaha Aerox 155 & Hero Xoom 160 Rival
TVS Motor Company has officially confirmed that the much-anticipated Ntorq 150 will debut on September 4. The TVS Ntorq has long been a favourite among sporty 125cc scooters in India, and with this larger-capacity version, TVS is ready to push the benchmark further in the performance-scooter space.
TVS Ntorq 150 - What To Expect
The TVS Ntorq 150 will step into the growing 150-170cc scooter segment, currently led by models like the Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160, and Aprilia SR 175. Sales in this category are on the rise.

In fact, the Yamaha Aerox alone clocked 22,928 units in FY2025, a 24% year-on-year growth - making it a lucrative battleground for TVS.
The big question is whether TVS will equip the Ntorq 150 with a liquid-cooled engine to directly challenge the Yamaha Aerox, or go with a more cost-effective air-cooled unit. Either way, the scooter is expected to deliver a strong balance of performance and value.
From the teaser, TVS has revealed a bold quad-LED headlamp cluster with a split design on the front apron, retaining the aggressive look that made the Ntorq 125 so popular. Given the regulations for scooters above 150cc, the TVS Ntorq 150 will also come with single-channel ABS as part of the standard equipment list.
Rivals & Expected Price
Positioned against the Yamaha Aerox 155 (Rs 1.51 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi) and Hero Xoom 160 (Rs 1.49 lakh), the TVS Ntorq 150 is likely to fall in the same ballpark.
