TVS Bike & Scooter Prices Slashed By Up to Rs 24,310 After GST 2.0
TVS Motor Company has rolled out significant price reductions across its motorcycle and scooter portfolio following the implementation of GST 2.0. The updated tax structure has lowered rates for internal combustion engine two-wheelers under 350cc, cutting GST from 28 percent to 18 percent.
The move has made TVS one of the largest beneficiaries of the new policy, as every ICE-powered motorcycle and scooter in its lineup falls within this category. Customers purchasing TVS products will now pay considerably less, with reductions ranging between Rs 4,000 and nearly Rs 25,000.
Among the models, the Apache RTR 310 emerges as the biggest gainer under the revised prices. The motorcycle now costs up to Rs 24,310 less than before, cementing its place as the most heavily discounted model in TVS' current lineup. The Apache RR 310 also benefits significantly.
TVS has confirmed that it is passing on the full benefit of the reduced tax rate to buyers. This has resulted in meaningful price corrections across popular motorcycles like the Apache RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, and Raider, making them more competitive in their respective segments.
The Ronin, which already sits in a unique niche of modern-retro motorcycles, now comes with price cuts of up to Rs 14,330. Other mass-market commuter motorcycles such as the Sport, Radeon, and Star City+ also receive reductions ranging from around Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,300 depending on the variant.
On the scooter side, the Jupiter lineup sees drops between Rs 6,600 and Rs 8,100. The NTorq 125 and its bigger sibling, the NTorq 150, are now cheaper by nearly Rs 9,000 to Rs 11,000, further boosting their appeal among younger buyers looking for sporty designs.
Even TVS' entry-level offering, the XL 100 moped, has witnessed price adjustments between Rs 3,800 and Rs 5,200. The Zest 110 joins the list with reductions of just over Rs 6,000, adding value in the competitive lightweight scooter space.
While petrol-powered models see a substantial drop, TVS' electric range remains unaffected. The iQube and the newly launched Orbiter continue under the existing five percent GST slab, meaning their prices stay unchanged despite the revisions under GST 2.0.
