TVS Apache RTX 300 vs Yezdi Adventure Spec Comparison - Which Is The Better ADV For You?
Chennai-based two-wheeler giant TVS has added another dimension to its performance Apache lineup with the recent launch of the RTX 300, the firm's first ADV.
The new TVS Apache RTX 300 steps directly into the affordable end of India's ADV segment, and with a price tag of ₹1.99 lakh(ex-showroom), it finds itself directly pitted against the Yezdi Adventure, which was recently updated and got a price cut thanks to the changes in GST.

TVS Apache RTX 300 vs Yezdi Adventure: Pricing and Positioning
The Apache RTX 300 carries an introductory price of ₹1.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Yezdi Adventure starts slightly lower at ₹1.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). THis near-identical pricing of the two ADVs from TVS and Yezdi means that you really need to dig deeper

TVS Apache RTX 300 vs Yezdi Adventure: Engine and Performance
The TVS Apache RTX 300 is powered by a 299.1 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 36 PS at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The Yezdi Adventure, meanwhile, runs a 334 cc liquid-cooled unit generating 29.6 PS at 8,000 rpm and 29.9 Nm at 5,800 rpm.
Despite the smaller displacement, the Apache delivers more power and nearly equal torque, suggesting a livelier top-end performance. The Yezdi's torque kicks in earlier, which could make it more tractable on trails and broken roads.

TVS Apache RTX 300 vs Yezdi Adventure: Chassis and Dynamics
The Apache RTX 300 is built on a split-trellis frame, suspended by a 41 mm USD fork and monoshock, offering 180 mm travel at both ends. The Yezdi Adventure rides on a steel-tube frame, using a 35 mm telescopic fork (200 mm travel) and monoshock (180 mm travel).
Both get 320 mm front and 240 mm rear discs, but the Apache uses 110/80-19 front and 150/70-17 rear tyres, while the Yezdi goes with 90/90-21 front and 130/80-17 rear. The Yezdi's 21-inch front wheel makes it more adventure-focused, whereas the Apache's wider tyres and USD setup lean towards road touring and stability at higher speeds.

TVS Apache RTX 300 vs Yezdi Adventure: Dimensions and Comfort
The Apache RTX 300 offers 200 mm ground clearance, a 12.5-litre fuel tank, 835 mm seat height, and weighs 180 kg. The Yezdi Adventure counters with 220 mm ground clearance, a 15.5-litre tank, 815 mm seat height, and 187 kg kerb weight.
That makes the Yezdi slightly better suited for long off-road rides, thanks to more clearance and fuel range. The Apache, being lighter, promises sharper handling and easier control in urban or mixed conditions.

TVS Apache RTX 300 vs Yezdi Adventure: Features and Electronics
The Apache RTX 300 pulls ahead on the tech front. It packs a 5-inch TFT screen with smartphone mirroring, turn-by-turn navigation, ride modes (Rally, Tour, Urban, Rain), switchable dual-channel ABS, a bidirectional quick-shifter, cruise control, and LED lighting.
The Yezdi Adventure keeps things simpler with an LCD console, turn-by-turn navigation, LED lights, ABS modes (Road, Rain, Off-road), and traction control. While competent, it's clearly a more mechanical package compared to TVS's feature-loaded approach.

TVS Apache RTX 300 vs Yezdi Adventure: Verdict
At near-identical prices, the choice narrows to riding intent. The TVS Apache RTX 300 is the more sophisticated and powerful option, tailored for riders who split time between highways and city routes. The Yezdi Adventure continues to cater to those seeking a rugged, pure-ADV experience with traditional charm and longer tank range.
