TVS Apache RR 310 Updated To Meet OBD-2B Standards: Prices Start At Rs 2.78 Lakhs
The TVS Apache RR 310 has been updated to comply with the latest OBD-2B emission standards, resulting in a Rs 3,000 price increase. This update introduces features like launch control, cornering drag torque control, sequential turn indicators, and new 8-spoke alloy wheels from the RTR 310. The starting price for the updated model is Rs. 2.78 lakh ex-showroom.
Despite these enhancements, the Apache RR 310 retains its mechanical specifications. It continues to be powered by a liquid-cooled, 312cc single-cylinder engine that produces 38hp and 29Nm of torque. The bike is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip/assist clutch and a bidirectional quickshifter.
New Features and Pricing
The addition of new electronic rider aids such as launch control and cornering drag torque control are now standard on the RR 310. The bike also sports new alloy wheels that were initially seen on the RTR 310 model. These updates make the RR 310 more appealing without altering its core mechanics.
The price hike affects all variants of the Apache RR 310. The base red model without a quickshifter starts at Rs 2.78 lakh. Opting for the bidirectional quickshifter raises the price to Rs 2.95 lakh, while choosing the Bomber Grey colour option costs Rs 3 lakh.
Customisation Options
TVS offers BTO (Built To Order) packages for further customisation. The Dynamic pack is priced at Rs 18,000, while the Dynamic Pro pack adds another Rs 16,000 to the cost. Additionally, a Sepang Blue shade inspired by TVS's racing heritage in the Asia One Make Championship series is available for an extra Rs 10,000.
A fully customised Apache RR 310 can exceed Rs 3 lakh in total cost. These prices are ex-showroom rates applicable across India.
