Triumph Motorcycles India has introduced the Scrambler 400 XC, expanding its 400cc modern classic range. Priced at Rs 2,94,147 (ex-showroom, Delhi), this motorcycle is now available at all authorised Triumph dealerships in India. This launch continues Triumph's tradition of offering high-performance motorcycles that combine classic aesthetics with modern features.

Design Highlights

The Scrambler 400 XC is designed for versatility on both road and off-road terrains. It comes equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke tubeless wheels. Additional features include a high-mounted front fender, windscreen, and aluminium sump and engine guards as standard.

Inspired by the larger Scrambler models, the Scrambler 400 XC offers three colour choices: Racing Yellow, Storm Grey, and Vanilla White. The design reflects the rugged charm of its predecessors while incorporating modern elements for enhanced functionality.

Powertrain

The heart of the Scrambler 400 XC is Triumph's TR-series 400cc single-cylinder engine. It delivers 40 PS at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This setup provides robust low-end power and a lively mid-range suitable for diverse terrains.

Hardware & Features

The motorcycle features a twin-skin stainless steel exhaust system, USD front forks, and a monoshock rear suspension with 150 mm travel. These components ensure confident handling across various surfaces. Additionally, ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, and off-road ABS enhance safety and control.

All-LED lighting includes a DRL headlamp for improved visibility. A USB charging socket and dual-format digital instrument cluster blend retro style with modern usability. Torque-assist clutch, adjustable levers, and a key immobiliser are standard features.

Warranty

The Scrambler 400 XC offers a five-year standard warranty with one year of Roadside Assistance (RSA). Service intervals are set at every 16,000 km. Optional AMC and extended warranty packages are available for up to ten years.

Customisation Options

Riders can personalise their Scrambler with over twenty official accessories. This allows owners to tailor their motorcycles to suit individual preferences while maintaining the bike's core performance attributes.
