Triumph Motorcycles has launched a new Lava Red Satin colour variant for the Scrambler 400 X in India, priced at Rs. 2.67 lakh. The motorcycle retains its original mechanical features while enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled a fresh Lava Red Satin colour variant for its Scrambler 400 X model in India, marking a departure from the previous Volcanic Red/Phantom Black combination. The new colour exudes a more vibrant and high-quality finish. The introduction of this satin-finished red hue comes with a slight price adjustment of Rs. 758, setting the new ex-showroom price at Rs. 2.67 lakh. Despite this change in aesthetics, the motorcycle retains its mechanical configuration and other colour options remain available without alteration.
Aside from its striking new colour, the Scrambler 400 X persists with its proven TR-series, 398cc, liquid-cooled engine, mated to a six-speed transmission. This powertrain is celebrated for its smooth and linear output, delivering approximately 40bhp and 37.5Nm of torque. The gearbox is equally commendable, providing a positive and precise engagement. This blend of power and functionality ensures the Scrambler 400 X remains a versatile machine, adept both on roads and light off-road trails.

Detailed Mechanical and Design Features

This engine, coupled with a six-speed gearbox, propels the Scrambler 400 X without any alterations in performance or features. The motorcycle's semi-analogue speedometer with an integrated LCD screen remains unchanged, lacking smartphone connectivity—a feature that continues to be absent in the 2025 model year.
