Suzuki's sales also declined by 4.55% from last year but saw a 29.88% increase from June 2025, with the Japanese marque selling 96,029 units. Royal Enfield, reported a 24.58% increase in sales year-on-year to 76,254 units, despite a slight month-on-month decline of 0.91%.

In the international arena, each of the six leading two-wheeler manufacturers witnessed impressive growth. Export figures surged by 32.93% year-on-year to 402,805 units and saw a 12.86% increase from June 2025's exports.

Notably, Bajaj Auto led the exports with 156,968 units, showing growth both year-on-year and month-on-month. Following closely, TVS Motor experienced a substantial growth in exports, with figures rising by 52.26% year-on-year to 130,070 units, and a remarkable 24.25% increase month-on-month.

Hero MotoCorp, while trailing Honda in exports, managed to grow by 64.29% year-on-year to 37,358 units and achieved a 29.59% increase from June 2025. Suzuki and Royal Enfield each recorded year-on-year growth in exports, though they experienced a decrease on a month-on-month basis.

Combining domestic and international sales, the total number of units sold by these manufacturers in July 2025 amounted to 1,901,815, marking a 13.57% increase from July 2024 and a 2.69% rise from the sales in June 2025.

July 2025 was a remarkable month for the two-wheeler industry, with Honda taking over as the new king of the two-wheeler segment thanks to a big slump in numbers for Hero Motocorp, which has now discontinued its premium offering, the Maverick 440 due to its low sales numbers. However, we do expect Hero to surge back to the top soon as the festive season draws near.
