Top 10 Motorcycles (October 2025) - Splendor, Shine & Pulsar Lead The Sales Charts
The month of October saw sales across the auto numbers boom thanks to the effect of both the new GST rules and the Dusshera-Diwali festive season. India's top 10 motorcycles (in terms of sales) accounted for 10,60,399 units in October, which was a slight dip of nearly 2% YoY compared to the 10,81,437 units sold in October 2024.
The Hero Splendor retained its crown as the best-selling motorcycle in India with 3,40,131 units sold in October 2025. Sales of the Splendor registered a year-on-year decrease of 51,481 units (-13.15%) compared to the 3,91,612 units of the motorcycle Hero sold in October 2024.
The Honda Shine took the second spot once again, with 1,74,615 units sold in October 2025. However, compared with the 1,96,288 units sold in October 2024, sales of the Honda Shine declined by 21,673 units (-11.04%) year-over-year.
The Bajaj Pulsar lineup claimed the final spot on the podium with 1,52,996 units sold during October 2025. Sales of the Pulsar lineup were in the black, showing a year-on-year increase of 41,162 units(36.81%), compared to the 1,11,834 units sold in October 2024.
The Hero HF Deluxe took the 4th spot on the sales charts with 1,13,998 units, finding new homes in October 2025 compared with 1,24,343 units in October 2024. Sales of the Hero HF Deluxe saw a year-on-year drop of 10,345 units (-8.32%) compared to the same month in October.
The TVS Apache lineup took the 5th spot with a total of 61,619 units sold in October 2025. Compared to the 50,097 units sold in October 2024, sales of the TVS Apache saw a year-on-year rise of 11,522 units (23%).
The Other 5
TVS Raider registered 56,085 units in October 2025. Compared to the 51,153 units sold in October 2024, Raider sales increased year-over-year by 4,932 units (9.64%). The Bajaj Platina took the 7th spot, with 52,734 units sold last month. Sales of the Platina dropped 8,955 units (14.52%) YoY, compared with the 61,689 units sold in October 2024.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 logged 46,573 units in October 2025. Compared with 38,297 units in October 2024, sales of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 saw a year-on-year increase of 8,276 units (21.61%). The Honda CB Unicorn took the 9th spot on the list, with 32,825 units sold last month. Compared against the 31,768 units in October 2024, sales of the Unicorn rose by 1,057 units (3.33%) year-on-year.
The Hero Glamour rounded off the list with 28,823 units sold during October 2025. Compared with the 24,356 units sold in October 2024, sales of the Hero Glamour rose 4,467 units (18.34%) year-on-year.
