Suzuki Reveals Avenis Naruto Shippuden Edition Collaboration
Suzuki Motorcycle India recently revealed a special collaboration featuring its sporty 125cc scooter, the Avenis, inspired by the famous Japanese anime Naruto Shippuden. The unveiling of the collaboration between Suzuki and Naruto Shippude took place at the 'Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!!' festival in the nation's capital over the weekend.
The collaboration marks Suzuki's first tie-up with an anime franchise in India, blending the energetic persona of Naruto with the youthful image of the Avenis. Suzuki says the Avenis was the natural choice for this collaboration because of its bold design and sporty dynamics. Naruto's never-give-up spirit and boundless energy are seen as a mirror of the scooter's personality, making the association feel like an organic extension of both brands.

Speaking on the announcement, Mr. Deepak Mutreja, Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., said, "The AVENIS is a scooter designed for young riders who seek style and performance in everything they choose. This collaboration adds an extra layer of excitement, making the scooter experience more engaging and relatable. It also introduces a special AVENIS x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN theme, featured across activations and merchandise, giving fans an opportunity to experience their favourite anime universe in a completely new way."
The Suzuki Avenis is powered by a 124.3cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that pushes out 8.58bhp at 6750rpm and 10Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT gearbox and it returns an ARAI-certified mileage of 49.6km/l. The Avenis has a claimed top speed of 90km/h.
Design highlights of the Avenis include sharp LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, split grab rails, and a fully digital console. The Avenis sports a telescopic front suspension and a rear monoshock setup and it rides on 12-inch front wheel and a 10-inch rear wheel shod with 90/90 - 12 (front) and 90/100 - 10 (rear) tubeless tyres. Riders also get practical touches like a front box with USB socket, an external fuel cap, long step seat, and 21.8 litres of under-seat storage.
The Suzuki Avenis scooter is sold in three variants: Standard Edition, Ride Connect Edition, and Special Edition. Colour options include Metallic Matte Platinum Silver with Glass Sparkle Black, Glossy Sparkle Black with Pearl Glacier White, Glossy Sparkle Black with Pearl Mira Red, and a dual-tone Glossy Sparkle Black scheme. The Special Edition is offered in Metallic Mat Black with Metallic Mat Titanium Silver.
The Suzuki Avenis rivals the likes of the TVS Ntorq 125 (which has an ongoing collaboration with Marvel) and the Hero Xoom 125.
