Suzuki Updates Avenis & Burgman Scooters Updated In India: Now Complies With OBD-2B Standard
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has introduced OBD-2B compliant versions of its popular scooters, the Avenis and Burgman series, to align with new emission standards and customer preferences. These updated models are now available at dealerships across India, featuring reduced emissions, improved engine performance, and fresh colour choices to enhance their appeal.
The Suzuki Avenis now includes a Special Edition variant in a striking Metallic Matte Black No. 2 / Matte Titanium Silver colour scheme. This edition is priced at Rs. 94,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), while the standard OBD-2B compliant Avenis starts at Rs. 93,200. The Avenis is powered by a 124.3cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivers 8.7 PS at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

Enhanced Performance & Features
The Avenis maintains its quick acceleration and efficient mileage thanks to Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology and fuel injection. It is now available in five colour options: Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No. 2 / Glossy Sparkle Black, Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White, Glossy Sparkle Black, and the new Special Edition colour.
Both the Burgman Street and Burgman Street EX have been updated to meet OBD-2B compliance as well. These premium urban cruisers continue to be popular choices in the scooter market due to their cleaner emissions and enhanced engine management systems.

Burgman Series Updates
The Burgman Street is equipped with a 124cc engine producing 8.7 PS at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm, featuring SEP technology for optimal performance. Meanwhile, the Burgman Street EX boasts Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha tech along with Engine Auto Stop-Start (EASS) and a silent starter system.
The EX variant generates 8.6 PS at 6,500 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm while offering a more stable ride with its 12-inch rear wheel. The new Metallic Matte Stellar Blue colour joins existing options like Metallic Matte Black No. 2 and Metallic Royal Bronze for the EX model.

The Burgman Street starts at Rs. 95,800 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in Standard and Ride Connect variants across seven colours including unique shades like Pearl Moon Stone Gray for Standard models and Metallic Matte Stellar Blue for Ride Connect variants.
Suzuki's entire two-wheeler lineup in India now adheres to OBD-2B regulations ensuring an environmentally friendly riding experience without compromising on style or performance.
