Stefan Pierer Steps Down As KTM CEO, Gottfried Neumeister Takes Leadership Role
Stefan Pierer, who has led KTM AG for many years, is stepping down from his role as CEO. He will pass the leadership to Co-CEO Gottfried Neumeister. This transition is part of KTM's strategic plan for future growth. Pierer will remain involved with the company as a member of the Executive Board and continue to be part of the KTM family.
Gottfried Neumeister has a strong background in corporate management. He has served on the board of flyniki and DO & CO. "Stefan Pierer has created a unique company that reflects the passion and pioneering spirit of all employees. I see it as my task to preserve this legacy and at the same time to break new ground," he stated.

Neumeister's Professional Journey
After studying international business administration at the University of Vienna, Neumeister worked as a consultant at Siemens AG Austria. In 2003, he co-founded flyniki with Niki Lauda, successfully developing its aviation business until its sale to Air Berlin.
In 2012, Neumeister joined DO & CO Aktiengesellschaft's Management Board, eventually becoming Co-CEO from 2021 to 2023. Since September 1, 2024, he has been Co-CEO of PIERER Mobility AG and KTM AG. Additionally, he joined Pierer Industrie AG's Executive Board on January 1, 2025.
