Simple OneS Electric Scooter Launched At Rs 1,39,999 - 181 Km Range

Simple Energy has launched its new electric scooter, the Simple OneS, priced at ₹1,39,999. Simple Energy has unveiled the Simple OneS, a new electric scooter priced at ₹1,39,999 (ex-showroom). This Simple OneS boasts an impressive IDC range of 181 km, making it ideal for various commutes.

The Simple OneS scooter is available at the firm's dealerships in Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Kochi, and Mangalore.The launch of the Simple OneS also marks the discontinuation of the Simple Dot One, which it replaces. With this launch, Simple Energy's lineup now includes two models: Simple One Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS.

The Simple OneS is powered by an 8.5kW (11.39bhp) PMSM motor paired with a 3.7 kWh fixed battery. It achieves a top speed of 105 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.55 seconds in Sonic mode. This makes it, acording to Simple Energy, the fastest and longest-range (181km IDC) electric scooter within its price bracket.

The Simple OneS offers advanced features like a 5G e-SIM and Wi-Fi connectivity. Riders can manage calls using the 7" touchscreen dashboard that supports Bluetooth. The dashboard also includes customizable themes, app integration, turn-by-turn navigation, and over-the-air updates for enhanced convenience.

Additional features on the Simple OneS include Find My Vehicle and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The regenerative and rapid braking systems improve safety while optimizing ride performance. A new Park Assist function allows easy maneuvering in tight spaces with forward and reverse movement capabilities.

The Simple OneS retains the aesthetic appeal of its predecessor and is available in four colours—Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red.The Simple OneS offers 35 liters of underseat storage and a seat height of 770 mm for added comfort.

In February 2025, the company also launched the Gen 1.5 version of its flagship Simple One electric scooter with an extended IDC range of 248 km, up from the 212 km range in Gen 1. The Simple One is priced at Rs 166,694 (ex-showroom, Bangalore). THe Simple One features the same 8.5kW motor as the OneS but features a larger 5kWh battery pack setup which includes a removable 1.5kWh battery pack.
