2025 Simple One Electric Scooter Launched At Rs 1.66 Lakh - Range Rises To 248km
The Simple One electric scooter has received an update that boosts its Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range to 248km, up from the previous 212km. Prices for the 2025 Simple One electric scooter remain unchanged at Rs 1.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
As part of the 2025 update, the Simple One electric scooter now includes several new features aimed at improving the overall user experience. These include a tyre pressure monitoring system, Park Assist, Find My Vehicle, customisable themes for the display, rapid brake, OTA updates, trip history and statistics, updated regenerative braking capabilities and a USB charging port.

The Simple One scooter's battery setup continues to consist of a 5kWh capacity divided into two parts: a fixed 3.7kWh battery and a removable 1.3kWh pack, which allows for flexibility in charging. The battery pack powers a mid-mounted electric motor kicking out 11.4bhp and 72Nm of peak torque that allows the Simple One to sprint from 0-40km/h in 2.77 seconds and hit a top speed of 105kph.
The Simple One offers four ride modes - Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic, with Eco being the most conservative and Sonic the most performance-oriented. Eco is also the mode rated for the 248km IDC range.

The Simple One features telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear to handle the rough stuff, while braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes at both the front and the rear. The brakes are aided by a combi-braking system.
Other highlights of the Simple One electric scooter include LED lighting, a seven-inch touchscreen display with auto-brightness and navigation from Map My India. The Simple One, weighs 136kg and offers a seat height of 796mm.

The company's current dealership network spans just 10 locations nationwide, but there are ambitious expansion plans in place. Simple Energy aims to significantly increase its footprint by opening 150 showrooms and 200 service stations by the end of the financial year 2026.
