Royal Enfield Scram 440 Launched At Rs 2.08 Lakh - 2 Variants, 4 Colours & More Powerrr
Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield has launched the all-new Scram 440 motorcycle for Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom). The Royal Enfield Scram 440 was unveiled at Motoverse 2024 in Vagator, Goa and replaces the old Scram 411 in the Royal Enfield lineup.
The Royal Enfield Scram 440 is offered in two variant levels - Trail and Force. While the Royal Enfield Scram 440 Trail variant is priced at Rs 2.08 lakh, the Scram 440 Force variant is available for Rs. 2.15 lakh (All prices are ex-showroom).

The Trail variant comes equipped with conventional 19/17-inch spoke wheels draped with tubed tyres, whereas the Force variant boasts alloy wheels with tubeless tyres allowing them to cater to different rider preferences. Both bikes feature a LED headlight and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
The Royal Enfield Scram 440 is powered by an all-new 443cc, air/oil-cooled eengine that delivers 25.4bhp at 6,250rpm and a 34Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. This engine is coupled with a six-speed transmission.

In terms of its design, the Scram 440 maintains a strong resemblance to the Scram 411, featuring a classic round headlight encased in a small cowl, a muscular fuel tank, a streamlined tail section, and an upturned exhaust setup. Royal Enfield is offering both variants of the Scram 440 with two colour options each - Force Teal, Force Grey, Force Blue for the Force variant, and Trail Green and Trail Blue for the Trail variant.
The Scram 440's suspension system comprises telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear while braking duties are managed by a single disc brake at both the front and rear ends of the motorcycle that are aided by switchable, dual-channel ABS.

The Royal Enfield Scram 440 enters a competitive field, going head-to-head with rivals such as the Triumph Scrambler 400X and the Yezdi Scrambler. With its blend of performance, retro style, and aggressive pricing coupled with Royal Enfield's strong heritage, the new Scram 440 looks to be the real deal for Indian riders looking to go down the scrambler route.
