Royal Enfield Reports 19.34% Sales Growth In May 2025: Classic 350 & Bullet 350 Drive Sales
Royal Enfield's domestic sales in May 2025 reached 75,820 units, marking a 19.34% increase compared to the same month last year when they sold 63,531 units. This growth was largely attributed to the robust performance of the Classic 350 and Bullet 350 models. However, some models like the Himalayan and 650 Twins experienced a decline in sales.
Year-on-Year Sales Performance
The Classic 350 led the sales with 28,628 units sold, reflecting a 20.39% rise from May 2024's figure of 23,779 units. The Bullet 350 also showed impressive growth, with an 85.16% increase as it sold 17,279 units compared to last year's 9,332 units. Meanwhile, the Hunter 350 saw a modest growth of 5.89%, selling 15,972 units.

Conversely, the Meteor 350 experienced a slight drop in sales with only 7,697 units sold in May 2025, down by 6.01% from the previous year's figure of 8,189 units. The combined sales of the Interceptor and Continental GT (650 Twins) also decreased by 7.28%, totaling just 2,675 units.
Monthly Sales Comparison
When comparing month-on-month data from April to May 2025, overall sales remained relatively stable with a minor decrease of just 0.24%. The Classic 350 saw a monthly increase of 6.82%, while the Bullet 350 rose by 4.79%. However, there was an observed decline for other models such as the Hunter 350 which fell by 11.80%, and the Himalayan which dropped by a significant margin of 13.18%.
The Himalayan faced a sharper decline year-on-year with only 1,489 units sold in May this year—a steep fall of over half at -55.07% compared to last year's figure of more than three thousand units (3,314). Among newer releases is Guerrilla's debut model: Guerrilla450 managed an initial sale count reaching up into four digits at precisely one thousand thirty-five (1k+35).
New Model Launches and Their Impact
The newly launched Guerrilla model recorded its first sales figures with an encouraging start at one thousand thirty-five (1k+35) vehicles sold during its debut month—May '25—while another fresh addition called Shotgun650 contributed one hundred ninety-four (194) more towards Royal Enfield’s monthly tally.
Despite certain models showing declines on both yearly/monthly scales like Super Meteor650 (-10%) or Shotgun (-15%), Royal Enfield still enjoys strong demand overall thanks largely due to their popular line-up within three-fifty cubic centimetre range offerings.
