Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Vs Classic 350: Understanding Key Differences & Features
Royal Enfield has introduced the updated Hunter 350 in India, generating significant interest. This new model competes with various bikes but primarily with Royal Enfield's own Classic 350. Despite both being from the same manufacturer, the Hunter 350 and Classic 350 have distinct differences. This article explores these variations in detail.
Variants & Price
The 2025 Hunter 350 comes in three versions: Base, Mid, and Top. Their ex-showroom prices are Rs. 1,49,000, Rs. 1,76,750, and Rs. 1,81,750 respectively. These variants offer multiple paint choices. In contrast, the Classic 350 is available in seven colours with prices ranging from Rs. 1,93,080 to Rs. 2,30,000.

Features & Upgrades
The new Hunter 350 boasts several enhancements. The rear suspension now features a twin-coil setup for a smoother ride compared to its predecessor's quick suspension. The ground clearance has increased by 10mm. The rider's seat design is improved for comfort, and the rear seat has extra cushioning. While it retains a semi-analog digital speedometer, top variants offer navigation.
Both models include LED headlamps and a slip & assist clutch. Additionally, they feature a 27-watt Type-C charger. The Classic 350 also provides LED pilot lights and adjustable brake and clutch levers.

Powertrain
Both the Hunter 350 and Classic 350 are powered by a 349cc J-series engine. This air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine delivers up to 20.2 bhp at 6100 rpm and a torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. It is paired with a five-speed gearbox and slip & assist clutch for smooth operation.
DriveSpark Thinks
Despite the Hunter 350's top variant being cheaper than the Classic 350's base model, comparing them might seem unusual at first glance. However, the new rear suspension in the Hunter addresses previous issues of instability on uneven roads. The redesigned rider seat enhances comfort further.
The addition of an LED headlamp at the front is another significant improvement in the Hunter 350. These changes contribute to a more refined riding experience compared to its predecessor.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 offers competitive pricing and enhanced features that make it an attractive option for buyers looking for a comfortable ride with modern amenities.
