Royal Enfield, the iconic motorcycle brand, has unveiled their first-ever electric bike at the Motoverse 2025 event. The Flying Flea S6 is a scrambler-type electric vehicle made for urban rides and occasional adventures. Here are the top 5 things to know about this Scrambler EV.

First Electric bike by Royal Enfield
The Flying Flea S6 becomes the brand's first EV bike, and the second in the Flying Flea lineup. It features a lightweight magnesium Battery casing with deep cooling fins that effectively dissipate heat. Royal Enfield hasn't revealed anything about its range and power. We expect the bike to have a range of around 170 Km as it is designed mainly for urban rides.
Enduro design
It is designed for long endurance and has a 19-inch front and an 18-inch enhanced spoked aluminium wheel for light trails. The S6 looks rugged, lightweight, flexible, and durable. It also gets dual-purpose sports tyres that can tackle multiple driving conditions.
Ergonomics and Equipment
The Flying Flea S6 features a flat handlebar, providing more confidence and engagement during rides. It also features a Chain drive instead of a belt for endurance and reliability. The bike has an enduro-style flat seat that is comfortable for urban riding. The ground clearance is also very high, and it can manoeuvre multiple terrains.
Built-in Technologies
The EV also gets 6 different riding modes, including a dedicated off-road mode and dual-channel ABS. Additionally, it has a 3.5-inch TFT display with smart connectivity powered by a Qualcomm QWM2290 processor. It also features 4G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, Voice-assist capability, Bi-Directional Crawl mode and Cruise control.
Flying Flea S6 Launch Date
The production of the Flying Flea S6 will begin by the end of 2026. We expect the bike launch and deliveries by early 2027. The Flying Flea will be a mid-premium electric bike and priced accordingly. This will be Royal Enfield's first production EV bike, and it is expected to meet a lot of expectations.
