Motoverse 2025: Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 Race Bike Showcased
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 race-bike prototype was showcased at the firm's Motoverse 2025 event in Vagator, Goa, marking its first appearance in India following its international reveal at EICMA 2025.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 prototype previews the firm's upcoming 750cc platform and aims to replace the current GT 650 race model in next year's racing season.

Visually, the Royal Enfield GT 750 race prototype carries a retro-racer stance with a bikini fairing, low clip-on handlebars, rear-set foot-pegs and a shortened sub-frame that emphasises compactness and agility. The twin-bar LED light at the rear spans the width of the tail section, while the side-mounted race number plates underline the bike's track-derived purpose.
The Royal Enfield GT 750 prototype features a newly engineered chassis and revised steering assembly, with Showa-spec suspension components customised for racing environments.

At the front, there are robust telescopic forks, and at the rear, twin-shock absorbers take care of the rough stuff. Braking hardware is upgraded with twin front discs and high-performance callipers to match the bike's elevated dynamics.
Power comes from an entirely new 750 cc parallel-twin engine that displaces more than the outgoing 648 cc unit. Early estimates suggest output around 54-55 bhp and peak torque near 65 Nm in the race-spec layout, a significant jump over the GT 650's 47 bhp/52 Nm rating. The six-speed gearbox and slipper-clutch setup are likely to be retained from the current 650 lineup.

Although performance numbers are preliminary and designated for racing use, the Royal Enfield GT 750 prototype hints at how the production version may evolve. We expect the production Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 to launch around late 2026 or early 2027 in India, with pricing estimated at approximately ₹4 lakh ex-showroom, a modest premium over the current GT 650.
While the Continental GT 750 race prototype on display is a track-biased race bike, the presence of dual-disc brakes, revised geometry and performance-floor hardware underline the brand's shift toward higher-performance neo-retro machines. Royal Enfield intends for this new platform to serve both road-going models and competition use as it expands its 750-cc family.
