Revolt RV BlazeX Launched At Rs 114,900 - 150km Range
Indian two-wheeler EV manufacturer Revolt has launched the RV BlazeX in India. The Revolt RV BlazeX is priced at Rs 1.14 lakh(ex-showroom) and deliveries are set to begin on the 1st of March.
The Revolt RV BlazeX is a commuter motorcycle that will line up against the new Ola Roadster X motorcycle lineup that was launched last month. It features a round LED headlight, a muscular faux fuel tank, a longish seat and two colour options - Eclipse Red Black and Sterling Silver Black. It also features a front storage box and under-seat charger compartment.
The Revolt RV BlazeX draws power from an IP67-rated 3.24kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of 150km (in Eco Mode) on a single charge. The battery pack can fast charge (0-80% in 1 hour 20 mins) and charge normally (0-80% in 3 hours and 30 minutes) using a 3-pin socket.
The Revolt RV BlazeX's battery pack powers a mid-mounted electric motor that has a peak output of 5.49bhp (4.1kW) that allows it to hit a top speed of 85km/h. The BlazeX features a telescopic fork at the front and twin shocks at the rear to take care of the rough stuff while 240mm disc brakes on both the front and rear help bring the bike to a stop.
The RV BlazeX rides on 17-inch wheels that are shod with 90/80 (front) and 110/80 (rear) tyres. The RV BlazeX by Revolt motors features a 1,350mm wheelbase, 790mm seat height, 180mm ground clearance and tips the scales at 113kg.

The Revolt RV BlazeX is the firm's fifth electric motorcycle for the Indian market and looks to be a direct response to the arrival of Ola's Roadster X series. Just how it fares in the market is something we will have to see in the months to come, and it will depend on how hard Revolt is looking to push back against Ola.
