Congress leader and politician Rahul Gandhi recently visited the BMW plant in Munich, Germany. The 55-year-old politician toured the BMW plant and BMW Welt (World), where he explored many BMW products, including motorcycles, Rolls-Royce cars, and electric bikes. However, the one product that attracted him the most was the TVS-BMW co-developed F 450 GS adventure motorcycle.

The leader of the opposition shared a video of his visit on his official social media accounts, posting: "Had the chance to experience BMW's world in Munich, Germany, with a guided tour of BMW Welt and the BMW Plant - an incredible look at world-class manufacturing up close."
He added, "A highlight was seeing TVS's 450cc motorcycle, developed in partnership with BMW. Proud moment to see Indian engineering on display." This clearly shows his excitement at seeing an Indian product showcased in Germany.

BMW is in partnership with India's TVS Motor Company, and together they launched the 310 series motorcycles, including the TVS RR 310, RTR 310, BMW G 310 RR, G 310 R, and the G 310 GS Adventure.
The BMW F 450 GS is an upcoming adventure motorcycle developed in partnership with TVS. It features a tall ADV stance with an adjustable long-travel suspension setup. The bike is powered by a 420cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 48 bhp of power and 43 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle also comes equipped with an Easy Ride Clutch (ERC), signature X-shaped LED headlamp, a 6.5-inch TFT colour display with smartphone connectivity, traction control, heated grips, adjustable levers, riding modes, switchable dual-channel ABS, and Shift Assistant Pro. This Adventure Motorcycle is expected to launch in India by early 2026.

After his visit, Rahul Gandhi said, "This was a fantastic experience. I was particularly excited to see that they've got a 450cc bike that TVS made. That's going to do well. Good to see the Indian flag flying here." Rahul Gandhi is known for his love for motorcycles, and he even owns a KTM 390 Adventure.
Additionally, he also experienced some of the BMW and Rolls-Royce models and interacted with Indian visitors at the venue. He was concerned about the decline in manufacturing in India and felt the need to regain momentum.
