Ola Roadster X & X+ Electric Motorcycles Launched - Prices Start At Rs 74,999, Max Range 501km
Ola Electric has launched its Roadster X and Roadster X+ electric motorcycles. Prices start At Rs 74,999 for the Ola Roadster X and Rs 1,04,999 for the Roadster X+ (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom). Bookings are now open and deliveries will tart in mid-March.
The Ola Roadster X and Roadster X+lineup of electric motorcycles come with a host of features including a mid-drive motor with an integrated MCU, flat cables, ABS, brake-by-wire, three riding modes, and Move OS 5 which enables other features like advanced regenerative braking, cruise control, and reverse mode.
The Roadster X lineup features a minimalist design, along with a 4.3-inch LCD instrument screen that allows for OTA updates along with the usual readout like speeds, range and alerts for tyre pressure. The Roadster X lineup rides on 17-inch wheels and sports a double cradle frame suspended off telescopic forks (front) and dual springs (rear). Braking duties are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
The Ola Roadster X is offered with three battery pack options - 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh and 4.5kWh - which offer a range of 140 km, 196 km and 252 km (IDC) respectively. These battery packs are connected to a 9.38bhp mid-mounted motor. The base Roadster X sprints from 0-40km/h in 3.4 seconds and tops out at 105km/h. The other two variants of the Roadster X sprint from 0-40km/h in 3.1 seconds and top out at 118km/h.
The Roadster X+ is offered with two battery pack options - 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh - the former offering a range of 252km while the latter, which sports Ola's 4680 Bharat Cell ups the range figure to 501km (all figures IDC). Both battery packs are connected to a 14.75bhp electric motor that allows the Roadster X+ to sprint from 0-40km/h in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 125km/h.
