Ola has unveiled its Gen 3 electric scooters, introducing four models: S1 X, S1 X+, S1 Pro, and the flagship S1 Pro+. Prices range from Rs 79,999 to Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). This launch marks the end of the S1 Air model. However, the Gen 2 versions of the S1 X and S1 Pro will still be available at reduced prices.
Changes
The Gen 3 scooters feature a mid-drive motor and chain final drive for improved efficiency and noise reduction. Additionally, brake-by-wire technology is now integrated into the ABS system. These updates aim to enhance performance and user experience.
MoveOS 5 & Features
Ola's new operating software, MoveOS 5, brings several enhancements. Users can enjoy a customizable layout, Smart Park assist, device-based locking, emergency contact notifications, and a detailed map of charging stations. These features are designed to improve convenience and safety for riders.
Variants
The S1 X model is available in three battery variants. It offers significant improvements in speed and range, reaching up to 123kph and covering up to 242km on its 4kWh variant. The S1 X+ model comes with a single 4kWh battery variant, achieving a top speed of 125kph and featuring single-channel ABS.
The Gen 3 platform's S1 Pro comes in two battery sizes. It offers similar speed and power as the S1 X+ but includes a touchscreen display and body-colored mirrors for added style. The top-tier model, S1 Pro+, pushes limits with its advanced features.
Performance Highlights
The flagship S1 Pro+ stands out with its 4kWh and 5.3kWh variants. The latter promises an impressive range of up to 320km due to Ola's proprietary 4680 cell technology. It's equipped with a powerful 13kW motor that reaches a top speed of 141kph. Also, the model accelerates from 0-40kph in just 2.1 seconds.

The S1 Pro+ is India's first electric scooter with dual-channel ABS. Premium features include rim decals and an aluminum pillion grab rail, making it a standout choice for enthusiasts seeking performance and style.

Introductory prices for these models are available for a limited time only. Bookings are open now, with deliveries expected by mid-February. Ola continues to offer Gen 2 models at reduced prices while expanding its network significantly.
Ola has increased its operational stores and service centers nationwide from 800 in November 2024 to over 4,000 currently. Additionally, Ola hinted at upcoming news regarding its electric bikes on February 5.
