Norton Motorcycles Teases New Superbike Ahead Of Debut At EICMA 2025
TVS-owned British bikemaker Norton Motorcycles has hinted at a major reveal set for the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy, on the 4th of November, expected to be a brand-new four-cylinder superbike.
This teaser for the new Norton Superbike came through a teaser posted on the Notoron Motorcycles Instagram handle on the 16th of July, showing a snippet of the bike’s rear, particularly focusing on the taillight. The teaser hints at a fresh direction for the company with the caption, "Norton's resurgence! A new era begins," and directs followers to its official website for more details.

The taillight section, looks unlike anything currently available from Norton, with unique design elements including a staggered taillight and distinct body panels. The image also revealed a grey paint scheme for the upcoming Norton superbike.
Sudarshan Venu, the Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, which owns Norton, had shared insights in a CNBC-TV18 interview last month about his company's ambitious plans for Norton. Venu revealed that Norton was gearing up for significant product launches towards the end of this and the beginning of next year.
In the interview, Venu had confirmed that the new Norton set to arrive at EICMA 2025 was a 1200cc four-cylinder superbike. He also stated that Norton was progressing with six different motorcycles, with four set to be launched by the summer of 2026 across various key markets including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and India.
DriveSpark Thinks
Norton's strategy for its revival involves rejuvenating its product line, starting with high-end models to reestablish its brand. The introduction of lower-displacement motorcycles, including one based on the engine powering the BMW GS 450, is part of the plan to increase market volume by making Norton bikes more accessible and affordable to the fans of the British marque.
This move is critical for TVS to refresh Norton's somewhat outdated lineup and adjust its pricing strategy to reach a wider audience. We are waiting with baited breath for the EICMA 2025 debut of Norton's new four-cylinder superbike and hope that it marks the start of a new era for Norton under the ownership of TVS.
