New-Generation Bajaj Pulsar Classic Expected To Make Debut In 2026
Bajaj Auto is expected to launch the next-generation Pulsar Classic, built on an all-new platform, in 2026. Company MD & CEO Rajiv Bajaj has already stated 2026 as the "Year of Pulsar, which also coincides with the 25th anniversary of the iconic Pulsar brand.
Bajaj's most popular motorcycle worldwide is the Classic Pulsar, and next year it is expected to receive a major update. The new model is likely to make its debut in the second half of 2026.

Expectations for the New Bajaj Pulsar
The design is anticipated to look fresh and futuristic while retaining some of the signature elements from the current Classic lineup, including the iconic 'wolf-eyed' style LED DRLs and the familiar Commuter-sporty mixed riding stance.
Bajaj is rumoured to be developing an all-new platform for the upcoming Pulsar Classics. It is expected to feature a new chassis, engine and updated technology. The bike may also include many modern elements such as LED projector headlamps, a digital TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, and even riding modes.

The first-ever Pulsar 150 was launched back in late 2001, and the new generation is expected to arrive during the 2026 festive season. Recently, Bajaj updated the existing Pulsar 150 with new LED lighting, fresh colour options and cosmetic enhancements. It is currently priced at around ₹1.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Pulsar Classic 150's powertrain remains unchanged with a 149.5cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 14 PS of power and 13.4 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. This engine setup is well-suited for daily commuting, offering a good balance of performance, refinement and reliability.
Safety equipment includes telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Additionally, it features disc brakes with single-channel ABS, along with 17-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. The Bajaj Pulsar Classic 150 will compete with motorcycles such as the Honda Unicorn, TVS Apache RTR 160, Honda SP 160, Hero Xtreme 160R and Yamaha FZ range.
