KTM Reveals Key Specs About The Upcoming 1390 Super Duke RR

Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has revealed the key specs of the upcoming 1390 Super Duke RR. This could be a limited-edition flagship bike, and an upgrade to the existing 1390 Super Duke R. It was originally planned to make a debut at the 2025 EICMA event, but due to the company's financial crisis, the launch was delayed.

2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Specs

The 1390 Super Duke RR is expected to be sold as a limited edition model, similar to the 1290 Super Duke RR, which was limited to only 500 units. The super bike weighs 204 kg, which is 8.5 kg less compared to the standard 1390 R Super Duke's 212.5 kg. This helps the bike with more performance and acceleration.

Powering the 1390 Super Duke RR is KTM's familiar 1350cc V‑twin cylinder, liquid‑cooled engine, delivering 190 hp of power at 10,000 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, mated with a 6‑speed gearbox. Performance upgrades include an Akrapovič titanium exhaust, extensive carbon‑fibre components, and a lightweight lithium‑ion battery.

The RR will also feature 17 mm wider handlebars, premium WP Apex Pro USD forks and Mono-shock suspension, and lever guards, similar to the KTM 1290 Super Duke RR. Standard features such as Brembo brakes and callipers, LED headlights, and fully adjustable shifting and braking controls remain the same.

Technically, the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR is equipped with five riding modes (Street, Sport, Rain, Performance, and Track), Advanced traction control, a 5‑inch TFT display with a lap timer and telemetry, an Anti‑wheelie system, KTM Connect, USB charging, and cruise control. These are all essential for daily drives and raw performances.

KTM is now owned by India's Bajaj Auto, so the bike is more likely to arrive on the indian shores by 2026. The regular 1390 Super Duke R is listed on the KTM India website at 22.95 lakhs (ex-showroom). The 1390 Super Duke RR features more premium equipment and could be sold as a limited edition. So, it could cost around 25 lakhs (ex-showroom).
