KTM finally made its 2025 Adventure lineup available to customers in India last week to purchase. The new 2025 adventure lineup from KTM for India consists of the 250 Adventure, the 390 Adventure X and the 390 Adventure.

KTM 390 Adventure Design - Rally Inspired
The KTM 390 Adventure's looks have changed quite a bit compared to the previous model. The new 390 Adventure takes its design inspiration from KTM's Dakar-winning 450 Rally motorcycle with its beak-like front end and minimal fairing. Other design highlights include the vertical headlight and windscreen, flat tail section and the spoked wheels.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure Chassis, Suspension, Brakes & More: More Than A Skin Deep Change
The changes to the KTM 390 Adventure are more than just skin deep. The ADV sports a steel trellis frame setup suspended off and an adjustable USD front fork that allows for 200mm of travel while at the rear it sports an adjustable monoshock with 205mm of travel. The new 390 Adventure offers 277mm of ground clearance.
Braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear. The 2025 390 Adventure rides on a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. These wire-spoked wheels are shod with tubeless tyres.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure Engine & Gearbox - Ferocious Firepower
The 2025 390 Adventure has upgraded its powerplant from the previous generation's 373cc unit to the current Duke's 399cc which pushes out 45.3bhp and 39Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox aided by a slip-and-assist clutch.

The new 2025 KTM 390 is priced at Rs 3,67,699 (ex-showroom) which for the amount of kit that the Austrian marque has packed into it makes it seem like great value despite costing nearly Rs 70k more than the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
