The Kinetic DX, a newly launched electric scooter in India, is set to compete with models like the Ather Rizta. This electric version of the classic Kinetic Honda DX scooter has been introduced at a starting price of Rs 1.11 lakh (ex-showroom), with prices reaching up to Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom) for the DX+ variant.
One of its main competitors is the Ather Rizta, known for its practicality. The Ather Rizta is priced between Rs 1.12 lakh and Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant chosen. That said, here is a comparison between the Kinetic DX and Ather Rizta electric scooters.

Design
The design of the Kinetic DX draws inspiration from its predecessor while incorporating unique electric vehicle features. The Kinetic DX boasts a distinctive LED headlight accompanied by a Kinetic logo-shaped LED daytime running light. Additionally, it features a visor with Kinetic branding, reminiscent of the original Honda DX model. These elements, along with other design features, help it stand out in its segment.
In comparison, the Ather Rizta sports a boxier design, and some design elements accentuate the length of the model to create an additional sense of space. That said, the design elemetns on the Ather Rizta is modern and suits the scooter very well.

Specs
In terms of specifications, the Kinetic DX+ is equipped with a 2.6 kWh LFP battery that offers an IDC-rated range of up to 116 kilometres on a full charge. Its electric powertrain delivers 6.4 bhp, allowing it to reach speeds up to 90 kmph.
In comparison, the Ather Rizta comes in three variants: Rizta S, Rizta Z with a 2.9 kWh battery pack, and another variant with a 3.7 kWh unit. The 2.9 kWh battery provides a range of up to 123 kilometres per charge, while the larger 3.7 kWh battery extends this range to 159 kilometres.
