5 Things We Absolutely Love About The New Kinetic DX Electric Scooter
Kinetic has resurrected an iconic Indian scooter with the launch of the new Kinetic DX electric scooter. This new electric scooter is available in two variants and here are 5 things we absolutely love about the new Kinetic DX electric scooter.
1. Onboard Charger
Unlike most electric scooters on the market, the Kinetic DX comes with a unique but very convenient onboard charging plug. This avoids the need of an additional charger that eats up underseat storage as seen in most electric scooters.
2. Smart Footpeg Release
This is another very practical feature seen in the Kinetic DX electric scooter. To release the rear footpegs, the user has to simply use a small lever under the handlebar.
3. Easy Key
While the traditional way to turn on a scooter is through a key, the things in Kinetic DX are somewhat different, as it uses a passcode to do it - A very convenient feature for those who lose their keys often.
4. Huge Underseat Storage
With 37 litres of underseat storage, the Kinetic DX electric scooter sports the second-largest boot in the Indian scooter segment (Only behind River Indie with its 43L underseat storage).
5. Metal Body
It is very clear that practicality and convenience have been given a great degree of importance while designing the Kinetic DX electric scooter. As such, the model comes with a metal body, making it easy to maintain and repair.
Other Details
As mentioned, the Kinetic DX is available in 2 variants - DX and DX+. The base DX variant is priced at Rs 1.11 lakh, whereas the DX+ variant commands a price of Rs 1.17 lakh (All prices in ex-showroom Pune).
At present, bookings for the Kinetic DX range of electric scooters are open, and the model can be booked for a nominal fee of just Rs 1,000.
