Kawasaki has launched the new 2026 Ninja 650 in India, and the updated model costs ₹14,000 more than the outgoing version. The new Ninja 650 now gets a fresh colour scheme, while the rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged.

2026 Kawasaki Ninja 650 New Update

It continues to have the same twin LED headlamps, the large aerodynamic front windshield, sharp Ninja styling, sporty split seats, a muscular fuel tank, a fully faired design, wider sporty mirrors, and Kawasaki's signature racing livery.

Same Powertrain

Kawasaki has retained the same powertrain in the updated model. It is powered by a 649cc, parallel-twin, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that produces 68 PS at 8,000 rpm and 62.1 Nm at 6,700 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with return shift.

Our take on the 2026 Ninja 650

Apart from the new colour, the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 650 hasn't received major changes, which may disappoint some enthusiasts. However, it remains one of the best value-for-money middleweight motorcycles, offering strong performance and a rich feature list.

The 2025 Ninja 650 was priced at ₹7.77 lakh (ex-showroom), while the new 2026 model commands an additional ₹14,000, now sold at ₹7.91 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the Honda CBR 650R, Triumph Daytona 660, and Aprilia Tuono 660.
