EICMA 2025: Honda Unveils New V3R 900E Compressor Prototype
Japanese auto maker Honda has revealed their new V3R 900E-Compressor prototype at the EICMA 2025 event. This new bike is just a prototype, but a first-of-its-kind motorcycle. Honda has unveiled this prototype bike as part of their '2030 vision', which aims for 'Joy and freedom mobility'.

The design looks similar to a modern naked sport motorcycle but has many fresh elements like asymmetrical side cowls, tank emblem, and Honda's new 'Flagship wing' design. This new design will appear on their premium bikes from next year.
Honda calls the development concept "Non Rail Roller coaster", which guarantees thrill and peace of mind. At EICMA 2024, it was unveiled as a concept. This year, Honda has built it into a working prototype, and they believe the bike gives unprecedented fun and excitement of riding and joy of ownership.
Engine
The biggest highlight was its engine, which is a 900cc water-cooled, 75-degree V3 engine paired with the electronically controlled compressor. This compressor system will manage the air intake compression independently of engine speed. This setup will deliver higher performance similar to a 1,200cc engine bike even at lower revs. So riders will get great performance and thrill with minimal fuel usage.

It also maintains efficiency by lowering emissions. Honda believes the Motorcycle model is one of its original technologies and will offer a new value for the customers. This V3R 900E Compressor Prototype is one of the first bikes to be unveiled, and we expect many more motorcycles with such technology in the future.
Honda will develop the prototype further until it is ready for mass production. We expect this bike to arrive within the next three years, as the bike looks almost complete. The Japanese automaker is known for introducing many such technologies, like DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission), e-Clutch, CBS (Combi Brake System), HSTC (Honda selectable Torque control), and Motorcycle Airbag technology.
