2025 Honda Shine 100 Launched: Prices Start At Rs 68,767
The Honda Shine 100, a popular motorcycle choice, is entering the market with an upgraded version for 2025, priced at ₹68,767 ex-showroom. This new price represents a slight increase of ₹1,867 over the previous model but brings with it several significant updates, including an OBD-2 compliant engine and an eye-catching Black with Orange colour option. This update not only enhances the bike's performance but also refreshes its appearance with new graphics and a revised colour palette.
This bike's engine has been refined to meet the OBD-2 standards, ensuring it complies with the latest emission regulations. The Shine 100 is powered by a 98.98cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine.

This engine is paired with a four-speed manual gearbox and is capable of producing 5.43 kW of power at 7500 RPM and 8.04 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM. This upgrade signifies Honda's commitment to providing environmentally friendly transportation solutions without compromising on power or performance.
Honda has also expanded the Shine 100's colour options beyond the new Black with Orange. Customers can now choose from Black with Red, Black with Blue, Black with Gray, and Black with Green. These fresh colour combinations, along with updated graphics on the headlamp cowl, fuel tank, and side fairing, give the bike a more modern and stylish look. The Honda wing logo has been removed, and the side fairing now prominently features the 'Shine 100' badge instead of just 'Shine', marking the model's unique identity.
The Shine 100's specifications and hardware have received attention as well. It continues to offer drum brakes on both ends with a Combined Braking System (CBS) for enhanced safety. The motorcycle is equipped with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers for a smooth ride, alongside blacked-out alloy wheels, an aluminium grab rail, and a long single-piece seat for added comfort and style.
In the words of Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, "since its launch in March 2023, Shine 100 has established itself as one of the fastest-growing brands in HMSI's motorcycle portfolio." Echoing this sentiment, Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, highlighted the Shine 100's pivotal role in bolstering Honda's footprint in the entry-level commuter segment.
Adding to the excitement, Honda also announced the launch of the 2025 CB350 range earlier in the month. This lineup includes the CB350 H'ness, CB350, and CB350RS models, all of which feature an updated engine that meets OBD-2B compliance requirements. Moreover, these models have been introduced in new colour options, giving them a refreshed look.
The CB350 range is priced between ₹2 lakh to ₹2.19 lakh, ex-showroom. The DLX variant, for example, is now available in Pearl Deep Ground Grey and Pearl Igneous Black, while the DLX Pro and DLX Pro Chrome variants come in additional colours like Rebel Red Metallic and Athletic Metallic Blue, enhancing their appeal.
