Large and Muscular like a car
Anyone who had seen a Goldwing before would have wondered about its huge size. The bike is built very large and muscular, like a car. Honda designed this bike to give luxury, performance and comfort all in one, which are the basic requirements for long-distance touring.
The bike is completely built on an Aluminium Double downdraft frame that makes it agile compared to its enormous size. It also features an adjustable windscreen and a jewel-eyed headlight that shines brightly in daylight, providing maximum visibility at night.
Smooth and Powerful boxer-type engine
The Goldwing is equipped with a 1833cc flat-6-cylinder Boxer engine that delivers a massive 124.72 bhp and 170 Nm torque. It is mated with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Automatic (DCT) Transmission, which also gets manual shifting. This powerful 6-cylinder engine never sweats out, even on a 1000km ride. That is why the Goldwing is called 'the king of touring bikes'.
Luxury and Comfort for long rides
It features a large luggage compartment with a 121-litre storage capacity that opens via push button or remote key. The bike also gets pillion back support and seats made of luxurious synthetic materials, which are very comfortable for long rides. The walking modes help the rider to move the bike forward and backwards without worrying about its enormous size and weight.
Segment first Safety and Technology
The Honda Goldwing is the only production motorcycle to come with an airbag system for rider safety. It is also equipped with advanced 6-piston double-disc brakes at the front and single-disc brakes at the rear. Additionally, it features an HSTC system, TPMS, a Double-wishbone suspension for high-impact absorption and a Pro-link electronic spring at the rear.
Honda also provides a 7-inch TFT Display that allows the riders to control riding modes, suspension adjustment, navigation, smartphone connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Overall, for this price, Honda offers its most powerful bike, which is equipped with features and safety equal to those of a premium car.
