Honda Activa E: & QC1 Electric Scooter Bookings Start In India
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) is now accepting bookings for its latest electric scooters, the ACTIVA e: and QC1. These models can be reserved at select dealerships in major Indian cities. The ACTIVA e: is available for booking in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai, while the QC1 can be booked in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh. A deposit of Rs 1,000 is required to secure a booking.
ACTIVA e: Features
The ACTIVA e: aims to blend modernity with the heritage of the ACTIVA brand. It comes in five colours: Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black. A standout feature is its 7.0-inch TFT display that connects via the Honda RoadSync Duo app. This model uses swappable battery technology with two 1.5 kWh batteries offering a range of 102 km on a full charge.

QC1 Specifications
Designed as a personal mobility solution, the Honda QC1 combines sleek design with advanced engineering. It shares colour options with the ACTIVA e:. The QC1 features a fixed 1.5 kWh battery pack providing an 80 km range per charge. Charging takes 4 hours and 30 minutes to reach 80% capacity and nearly 7 hours for a full charge.
Both models come with a warranty of three years or 50,000 km. Customers also receive three free services and roadside assistance during the first year. HMSI's entry into India's electric scooter market aims to offer sustainable urban mobility solutions with these two models.
Technical Highlights
The QC1's in-wheel motor delivers a peak output of 1.8 kW and maximum torque of 77 Nm, reaching speeds up to 50 km/h. It features a 5.0-inch LCD display for information and includes practical additions like a USB Type-C charging outlet and under-seat storage of 26 litres.
The strategic choice of launch cities indicates HMSI's focus on early adoption in key urban markets. The booking process involves a nominal fee allowing interested individuals to secure their place for these new scooters.
Market Strategy
HMSI plans to reveal prices at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 later this month, with deliveries starting in February 2025. The company aims to redefine urban transportation through these electric vehicles while maintaining the legacy of the ACTIVA brand.
The detailed specifications such as battery capacity, charging times, and range provide potential buyers essential information for comparing models based on daily commuting needs. Features like TFT displays with connectivity reflect growing demand for integrated technology in modern scooters.
The emphasis on range and charging times addresses key concerns about electric vehicle adoption. Warranty and free services add value and peace of mind for customers considering these new offerings from HMSI.
HMSI's participation in the Bharat Mobility Global Expo suggests its commitment to evolving transportation trends in India by combining traditional brand values with modern electric technology to capture market share in India's growing electric scooter segment.
