Honda CB125 Hornet Unveiled - The Stinging Answer To The Raider?
Honda has ventured into the sporty 125cc motorcycle segment by unveileing the CB125 Hornet. The new Honda CB125 Hornet will take on the likes of the TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R.
The Honda CB125 Hornet is powered by a 123.94cc, single-cylinder engine that is fuel-injected and OBD2B compliant. It produces 11bhp at 7500rpm and 11.2Nm of peak torque at 6000rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, allowing the CB 125 Hornet to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, making it the fastest in its class according to Honda.

Honda CB125 Hornet: Design & Features
Honda has adopted an assertive design for the CB125 Hornet. The front features a sharp LED headlamp and USD front forks with a golden finish, a first in this segment. The bike also includes a split seat setup. Other highlights include a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth support for access to the Honda Roadsync app, USB-C charging port, and full LED lighting.
The CB125 Hornet's suspension system comprises of USD front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking is managed by a 240mm petal disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear, supported by single-channel ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tyres measuring 80/100-17 at the front and 110/80-17 at the rear.
Honda CB125 Hornet: Colour Options & Availability
The CB125 Hornet will be offered in four colour combinations: Pearl Siren Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red. Bookings will commence on August 1st, with pricing details expected to be revealed closer to that date.
