Hero Unveils New Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition With Cruise Control
Hero Xtreme 160R 4V combat edition has arrived with different riding modes and a cruise control feature. This 160cc bike competes against the likes of Bajaj NS 160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Yamaha FZ 150. This Combat edition also comes with a new colour and paint scheme with a new headlamp borrowed from the Xtreme 250R. Check the full details below.
Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition features
The Xtreme 160R combat edition comes with a new colour scheme mixed with grey and yellow. Additionally, it also gets a ride-by-wire feature, cruise control and multiple riding modes like rain, road and sport. The new LCD console display and the LED projector headlamps are borrowed from the Xtreme 250R.

It also gets the H-shaped LED DRLs like all the other hero models. Earlier, Hero Motocorp launched the Xtreme 125 R Combat edition with the same updates and priced it at a premium cost of around 12,000 from the regular model. Same as the 125cc model, the newly updated 160cc model should carry a more premium price considering the features.
Hero didn't reveal the pricing, but we expect the bike to be priced around 1.40 lakhs (ex-showroom) as the Standard Xtreme 160R 4v is selling for 1.29 lakhs (ex-showroom). The rest of the bike remains the same with the regular 160R 4V.

It uses the same 163.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled 4 valve engine that produces 16.9 PS at 8500 rpm and 14.6 Nm torque at 6500 rpm. It has a fuel tank of 12 litres and is mated with a 5-speed transmission. It is built on a tubular underbone diamond-type chassis and a box-type swingarm.
The Xtreme 160R 4V is equipped with safety features like the dual-channel ABS, Panic braking alert, KYB USD front forks, 7-step adjustable rear mono shocks, and Disc brakes at both front and rear. Apart from the grey/yellow combination, this bike is also available in stealth black and Kevlar brown colours.
