Bookings for the new Hero Xoom 160 began a couple of months ago, and now the automaker has confirmed that customers can expect deliveries to commence from September 2025.

The Hero Xoom 160 is priced at Rs 1,48,500 (Ex-showroom), making it more affordable than its closest rival, the Yamaha Aerox 155. This aggressive pricing gives Hero a strong edge in the growing premium scooter category.

The model also comes with a 7-litre fuel tank integrated in the central spine, 14-inch alloy wheels with block-pattern tyres, front telescopic forks, and front disc brake with wide 120-section front and 140-section rear tyres.

Powering the Hero Xoom 160 is a 156cc single-cylinder, SOHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine with 14.6bhp at 8,000rpm and 14Nm at 6,500rpm.
