Hero Vida VX2 Teased - Hero's "Affordable" Electric Scooter Arrives On July 1
Indian two-wheeler giant Hero's electric arm Vida has teased the arrival of its upcoming VX 2 electric scooter ahead of its launch on July 1. The Vida VX 2 will be Hero Motocorp's most affordable offering when it arrives on our roads.
The new teaser image released by Vida on its socials coincides with the new ad campaign the firm is running with actors Anil and Ranbir Kapoor ahead of the launch of the VX 2.

The new teasers see the two Bollywood superstars play a father and son arguing over whether to buy an EV or a scooter with Ranbir (the son) arguing for a new school EV and Anil Kapoor (the father) in favour of a well-built old-school scooter.
The teaser images released by Vida shows off the aspects of the design of the upcoming electric scooter, which is expected to be based on the Vida Z revealed at EICMA 2024 and showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in January.
The Vida VX2 is expected to be offered in two trim levels with the higher-spec variant expected to rock the "Plus" moniker. The Vida VX2 Plus was recently spotted at one of the firm's dealerships in a bright yellow colourway.
How Vida plans to differentiate the two variants of the VX2 is currently not known. However, the firm does offer two battery pack options - 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh - and could use this difference to separate the VX2 and VX2 Plus from each other.
The upcoming Vida VX2 will be the most affordable electric scooter offering from Hero Motocorp and is expected to undercut the V2 lineup when it is launched on the 1st of July. The Vida VX2 is expected to go up against the likes of the newly launched Bajaj Chetak 3001 and the entry-level iQube from TVS.
